The theme of the event was &#8220;Bata:&#8221; Iligtas sa Droga!&#8221; (Save our Children from Illegal Drugs).<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by 600 selected indigent elementary school children from Grade 1 to 4. They received a hygiene kit containing toothbrush, toothpaste, rubbing alcohol, antiseptic cologne, cotton ear bud, 2 pieces of soaps and towel. Their teachers will teach them how to use the items properly to maintain basic hygiene.<\/p>\n<p>AWH, RIMM (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rotarymm.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rotary International Multinational Manila<\/a>) and RIMM president Betty Vicedo made financial contributions for the said hygiene kit while Sunny Enterprises donated 500 pieces of small natural coconut soaps. Gina of DSWD and the wife of Mayor Varias were appreciative for our kind donations. We received plaques of appreciation from the Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the event the Municipality of Alfonso treated all of the children with snacks from Jollibee and they enjoyed the The theme of the event was &#8220;Bata:&#8221; Iligtas sa Droga!&#8221; (Save our Children from Illegal Drugs). The event was attended by 600 selected indigent elementary school children from Grade 1 to 4. They received a hygiene kit containing toothbrush, toothpaste, rubbing alcohol, antiseptic cologne, cotton ear bud, 2 pieces of soaps and towel. Their teachers will teach them how to use the items properly to maintain basic hygiene.
