In December 2012, AWH members visited one of the poorest residential areas in Dasmarinas at the request of DSWD. It is part of an 11-year old “Resettlement Program” for over 200 squatters and homeless families that used to live on the streets of Manila. A welfare organization called “Home for The 100th Sheep” dedicatedly provides preschool education and development, livelihood and other basic needs such as food and shelter. While AWH assisted with providing basic needs over the holidays we encourage everyone to support ”Home for The 100th Sheep” in their selfless efforts to help the needy. |
